“Domino is a trusted name in the digital label printing market, and we were interested to experience the capabilities of the N730i and whether they would suit our needs,” explains Lan Qiang, General Manager, Colink. “Our purchase decision was based on the quality and resolution of the labels and the press’s high-speed capabilities, which will allow us to differentiate our offering into premium labels and meet evolving market needs.”
Yajuan Liu, General Manager, Beijing Jetrun Technology, said: “The Chinese label printing market is facing unprecedented changes and challenges, and the Domino N730i press holds many advantages for forward-thinking converters like Colink. We are pleased to be able to supply our customers with technology that helps them overcome market challenges and develop new opportunities.”
The Domino N730i digital colour label press features 1200dpi Brother BITSTARTM printhead technology and proprietary TPO-free inks, enabling Colink to produce fine details, including micro text and CJK characters, with superb quality. The press is capable of high-resolution print at up to 70 metres per minute across all colours – including high-opacity white.
“We are excited about this first installation for the N730i digital label press in the Chinese market,” commented Mark Herrtage, Asia Business Development Director, Domino. “It’s great to see our digital printing expertise benefit converters around the globe. The N730i is very well suited to the requirements of the Asian market, with its capability to produce crisp CJK characters, and has already proven popular in South Korea with seven units installed.”
