The TLMI Printing Excellence Awards celebrate the outstanding printing and converting achievements in the North American label and packaging industry, recognising submissions across analogue, digital, and hybrid printing processes.
Amherst Label, an Inovar company; ASL Print FX, an AWT Company; and International Label & Printing were honoured with Best-in-Class Awards.
Amherst Label was awarded best-in-class in the ‘Beverage – Alcoholic’ category for the label ‘13 Below Cold IPA – Baxter Brewing Company’, produced on one of their two MPS-Domino hybrid presses.
Amherst Label was also awarded:
- First place in the ‘Beverage – Non-alcoholic’ category for their ‘All Times Sparkling Cider – Citizen Cider’ label.
- First place in the ‘Wine & Spirits – All, including neck label’ category for the ‘Gusto – Seven Birches Winery’ label.
- Second place in the ‘Wine & Spirits – All, including neck label’ category for the ‘Essential Vermont Hopped Gin – Appalachian Gap Distillery – Switchback Brewing Company’ bottle label.
ASL Print FX was awarded best-in-class in the ‘Industrial & Automotive’ category for the ‘East Penn Traveller’s Choice RV Care’ label, produced on their Domino N610i digital UV inkjet label press.

From an equipment standpoint, the precision and reliability of our Domino press played a crucial role in achieving this recognition. International Label & Printing was awarded best-in-class in the category ‘Promotional & Extended Content’ for the label ‘Laconic Foods Orange Blossom Honey’, produced on their Nilpeter-Domino hybrid press.

We are also extremely grateful for the support of the entire Domino team in receiving this honour. Special thanks also go out to our team at International Label and to our customer, Laconic Foods. In addition, Domino customers Label King and Macaran, a NextGen Label Group Company, were recognised for labels printed on their Domino N610i digital UV inkjet label presses.
Label King was recognised with first and second place in the ‘Wellness, Pharmaceutical, & Nutraceutical’ category for their ‘Grizzly Peak Grateful Dave’ and Hydropro Chocolate Whey Protein’ labels. The converter also secured two further first place awards for the ‘Elum Designs Disco Cowgirl Boot’ label in the ‘Household – UTC’ category, and ‘Kavahol Alcohol-Free Kava Spirit’ label in the ‘Beverage – Non-alcoholic’ category.
Macaran, a NextGen Label Group Company, was awarded second place in the ‘Food’ category for their ‘SAP JACK’ label.
TLMI’s nine best-in-class winners, as well as a group of first place winners individually selected by the awards’ judges, will go on to compete in the International World Label Awards.
